Today we celebrated Christmas in July, complete with holiday foods, gifts and Buddy the Elf.  Sometimes you gotta be a little cooky when you live over here.

With the sunrise, while everyone else was snoozing, we made out way to the golden arches.  #A wanted a McMuffin for his McBirthday breakfast and by golly we were doing to Mcmake it happen. 
We're so grateful for this young man, how talented and joyful he is, his magnetic personality, his zest for life and his compassionate heart.  As we celebrate A's 10th birthday today, would you join us in praying for him, for his precious life and for his future?  Thank God for #A!

Classic example of what Friday afternoons look like this Summer.  A room full of college students and our littles hammocking and chilling after some of D's homecooking, and time in worship and in the Word.  TGIF

9July2018 Okay to by Jelly?

When you get updates from your teens like this, is it okay to be jealous?  Thank you all for continue to pray for #J and #Z.  So far they have had an unbelievable trip, seeing beautiful places, working with super heroes, doing cool stuff and even using their Arabic skills some.  God is good!

4July2018 Happy Bday America

#D smuggled in a couple boxes of Walmart sparklers a couple years ago and tonight we put those things to great use.  Here, on our roof, in the middle of the Middle East, we ate sliced watermelon....and baklava :) and celebrated our independence.  God bless America!
