When D and I were dating, many-many-many moons ago, there was a Krispy Kreme Doughnuts not far from campus. Every time we rode by that store she would check to see if their neon "Hot Now" sign was on. It's illumination meant that hot, fresh....new doughnuts had just come out of the oven. In her wise estimation there was only one thing in the pastry universe better than a Krispy Kreme doughnut and that was a hot Krispy Kreme doughnut.
As we stand on the cusp of 2014, we're excited. Each January 1st brings with it fresh possibilities, challenges, opportunities. We all have a chance to do something...new. So yeah, we're excited.
Our prayer for 2014 is that we will continue to grow deeper in our devotion to the Father and grow stronger in our love for our neighbor. May God bless you this year! 14bf
