5November2017 Pray for Persecuted Church

Today marks the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Please join us in praying for our brothers and sisters in the midst of persecution for their faith.

It's a time to focus our attention on our brothers and sisters who are being arrested, tortured, murdered, and driven out of their homeland, simply because they worship Jesus.Folks, we need to wake up, speak out, and urge our leaders in government to do what it can to fight atrocities committed against innocent men, women, and children around the world....Above all, we need to pray for them fervently. Lifting them up before God's throne is what persecuted Christians say they need most."

3November2017 Quickshot: Brrrrr

The parents are traveling, sans children.  Our bodies are used to Middle Eastern temps so Europe has been a real awakening for us.  Warm hats and hot coffee and pretzels and schnitzel and dumplings and, well you get the idea, have kept us comfortable.  We're extremely grateful for this time together but traveling without the kids is weird.  Nice, but weird.
