An early Christmas present: We recently learned that we will be returning to the States for 6 months beginning the end of July, 2011. There are lots of things to consider like where we'll live, school choices, which restaurants to eat at first.....
and you have to figure out how many times Si can come see Brad! Brad is sooo happy!!
ReplyDelete6 months?! Wow, that is a long time! You know, homeschool is always an option, especially since you will be here for a relatively short amount of time. It would give a sense of continuity for the kids, allow you to study courses that you want/need to study which may not be offered in traditional curriculum, and give your family the flexibility to travel at will to visit family around the country, or travel to other churches. etc to raise support while you are here without the kids having to miss school or stay home. Just a thought! ;) Jenna
ReplyDeleteHa! Just noticed I said it was a long time in one sentence and a short time in the next. To clarify, I meant it is a long time to be back for a "visit", but a short time to be back if you were thinking about re-establishing the kids in a school routine, only to pull them out again mid-year! I know you have many people here who are close friends and will want to spend time with you, but we'd love to see you while you are here to,, assuming you will be in this area! Jenna
