11September2020 A 9-11 Story Worth Retelling

As the United States, and the world to some extent, pauses to remember 9/11, there's pretty remarkable story related to that day that bears retelling.  You have heard about what took place at the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and in the countryside of Sommerset County, Pennsylvania but maybe you missed what happened in Gander,  small village in Newfoundland, Canada.  I hadn't heard about it until today but though it worthy of retelling.  We need more stories like this about hospitality and sacrifice and loving our neighbors.  I'll let you read about it here and/or watch about it here without additional commentary aside from a high-five and a virtual hug to the people of Gander, nine years later.  I'm a fan!
